Linden Grazier joined the New Haven Works team in February 2020. She holds an AB (Sociology/Child and Family Studies), a MSS (Policy, Practice, and Community Advocacy), and a Certificate in Social Work and Law, all from Bryn Mawr College. Prior to pivoting to social work, Linden spent many years employed in a niche sector of the food service industry.
Linden understands looking for work is stressful. She takes a client focused, strengths based approach in assisting members in recognizing and working toward their career goals. Linden will partner with you to build or revise your resume, help develop and edit cover letters, as well as provide you with tips, critique, and opportunities to practice interviewing- all key components in landing your next job. She will also help you identify concerns and possible solutions for issues tangential to your employment search.
Linden actively seeks out ways to engage in the larger New Haven community, serving as a member of the Yale Department of Psychiatry Anti-racism staffing subcommittee, working the polls on Election Day, and participating in faith-based endeavors. When not otherwise occupied, Linden enjoys kayaking, knitting, and a hot cup of strong tea.
